Luxury lodges coming soon to Highlands End Holiday Park
We will soon be expecting the new Holiday Lodges that are going to be available at Highlands End Holiday Park. We plan to have them ready for rental by Whitsun and with the great location we have selected for them; they will offer exceptional views all the way to Portland Bill on a clear day.

The lodges are both 3 bedrooms and will be the perfect option for a family holiday in West Dorset, with that extra touch of exclusiveness and luxury; we will soon be issuing rental prices and uploading more photos….

Saturday 19th January was our annual staff party, the theme was ‘Race Night’ and we had an excellent response from all our staff and contractors that we work closely with. We had 6 races shown by projector and everyone could bet with fake money, I think the winner in the end had about £30,000 in winnings!! She did however have to trade in her fake money for a real prize which the office staff at West Dorset Leisure Holidays had carefully selected. In total there were 6 winners and then the rest of the evening was spent with lots of dancing and plenty of laughing. I think it was a great night enjoyed by all.
2013 and we’re off to a great start
After a very relaxing Christmas and New Year all the staff have returned to the office ready for the beginning of a very exciting 2013. The biggest news I am so pleased to finally be able to share is that we will be opening new luxury lodges for hire at Highlands End Holiday Park. They will be available for hire this year and will set a new standard to the type of holiday we want to offer our valued customers.
We are now able to offer a full range of holiday options including the lodges, luxury apartments, hire caravans and the camping and touring pitches. We are currently offering a special deal on the apartments for February 2013 if you would like a winter break.
The maintenance team have been working hard cutting back the trees and relaying hedges, we have also laid a new surface on the bridleway from HighlandsEnd leading to Eype church, which will make the route a lot easier for visitors and local people to access.
The Boxing Day swim at West Bay was as eventful as ever, with the young and finest of Bridport in fancy dress running into the freezing sea water for fun! It’s always a very merry time with all the community coming together but I think I will always be a spectator in that event, much too cold for me!
