Update from the Parks
We apologise for the delay, following the snow, rain and now this lovely sun, we have been fighting to get back on track on the parks, I am pleased to say we are now nearly back to normal!
We were reminded by Phil our Park Manager at Golden Cap Holiday Park that we hadn’t posted for over two months, where does the time go! Anyway, as a quick update of what’s been going on, Phil kindly updated us on Golden Cap and what the team have been up to. The park is now in full swing with many Holiday Home Owners, Lodge and Caravan Hirers, Tourers, Motorhomes, Glampers and Campers enjoying what Seatown and the surrounding countryside have to offer. We have recently planted a whole range of flowers for the 40th Anniversary of Golden Cap, something we are all proud of both as a company and as the team on the park. Phil also reminded us that Big Berries our camping field opens next month which also means we are not far off the summer holidays.
The sales team recently launched their new website www.holidayhomesindorset.co.uk which has a full range of our caravan and lodges for sale. It also has a new feature for us where we have listed all of the vacant pitches and suggested Holiday Homes that could go on this pitch.
At Highlands End we have just completed a very busy Half term and looking ahead there is plenty going on locally throughout June and our Bookings team have the normal offers available if you wish to come and stay. There is also still some availability in our new premier camping pods and a few short breaks in our lodges and caravans if you want a cheeky June getaway.
In Martins Bar & Restaurant, we are about to launch our summer menu including specials and we got to taste the new Costa Coolers and Frappuccino’s – yum yum. Our two theme nights – Tuesday Curry night and Wednesday Pizza Quizza are going down well and last week we have over 150 entries into the quiz so the new additional chance game of ‘crack the code’ has a decent kitty waiting to be won!
Following our fame from Broadchurch we were pleased to welcome ITV to Highlands End to film for a competition on Loose Women! See next week’s blog for more info on that!
Here is a photo from one of the Motorhomes staying on our gravel pitches last week
We promise to blog more ?
